A devastating live performer, the Mark de Clive-Lowe experience is marked by impromptu studio production created on stage from scratch, using drum machines, keyboards and effects. The end result: live remixes birthed on stage for each and every gig. With overflowing skills like this, to call him “prolific” is an understatement. Mark de Clive-Lowe (MdCL) has contributed to over 250 releases and is a first-call collaborator for a wide range of artists, including Jill Scott, Jody Watley, Leon Ware (Marvin Gaye/Michael Jackson/Maxwell), Dame Shirley Bassey, Sandra St. Victor (The Family Stand/Chaka Khan), amongst many others.
Also performing, DJ K-nee, DJ Big Styles,DJ Peter Black, DJ Nathan SD Williams, DJ CES, Venus Cruz, Greg Tanner Harris, Dameion Hines, Charles P. Mertens (members of Future Jazz project); two rooms of music!
We are also honored to have Mark host a Music Clinic at The Living Room (1055 Broadway, next door to Bar Standard) at 4PM on 11/25/11, where he’ll discuss all areas of the music business, from composing and producing through technology. Mark has also been a teacher for the Red Bull Music Academy. The clinic includes a Q&A; $10 clinic for students of all ages; $20 for clinic and performance REMIX:LIVE at the Milk Bar, Nov 25th 9PM, 21+.
